Warwick Words Literature Festival

September 16, 2009

Do you live in Warwickshire? Or are you in travelling distance of the county town? WARWICK WORDS, the city’s 8th annual literature festival, runs from 1-4 October 2009. Authors, poets and storytellers will convene in Warwick to share their skills, perform, and lead workshops. I am thrilled to say I shall be among them, so if you fancy yourself as a children’s writer, and would like to join in a workshop on How To Write For Children, book now – there are only 15 places available – and I shall be pleased to inspire and encourage you. I shall be offering writing activities and insights into honing your skills and improving your chances of publication in this increasingly competitive field of literature. Please come prepared to write.

Sunday 4th October. Book at the box office (tickets £15): telephone 01926 776438 or, for more information on the festival, visit their website

That sounds great, Celia. ‘Tis a lonnnnnnng way from down ‘ere in Devon, though… Will you find your way there and back OK? 😉 *ducks and runs away* Seriously, though, I wish you well and I know, from experience, that you will lead an excellent workshop. You are so very good at giving helpful, constructive feedback.

Ar, m’dear … ’tis even farther than that there Brizzol. (See – I do know some geography!) No worries though, Ray will be there to navigate and/or drive, so I shan’t get lost. 😉 Thanks for your kind words. I’m very much looking forward to the event.
